[arriscad] Any luck with Polylines?

My boundary lines display as red, but yes. I know I was guilty of not
properly exiting the routine. What I was trying to do was pick a
double reference point off of one of my current polyline reference
blips, but apparently they are not able to be used for reference? That
would be awesome if it could. Did that make sense?

I am using Spin #426.... have they been enhanced since this release?

Electrical conduit would be another good use. We have a project right
now with electrical conduit all through our precast panels, and they are
currently drawn as just lines.

Jeff,

By "abandoned boundary lines" do you mean the white boundary indicators
that are used to place and edit? These can sometimes be left if the
placement routine is improperly exited without finishing and the
"Cancel" button is not used, or if an edit is improperly exited. If this

is the case select the "Cancel" button on the Polylines Application
Sub-menu and this should clear them (you may need to redisplay the
screen). Be sure you are on the latest spin of ARRIS 9.4 as Polylines
have been enhanced throughout the 9.4 release cycle.

I use Polylines all the time. They are great for showing electrical
connections from switch to device (with the Spline feature On). Another
good use that comes to mind is for contour lines.

Jim
