Arris 8.2. I know, I know.

Adding layer sets to master.dr using a routine we have. It adds plan
layers with PLAN-1, PLAN-2, etc depending on the layer set you add.
I need PLAN-1A, PLAN-1B, etc for six floors for a project.
I let the routine add one set of layers with PLAN-1.
I saved, then closed arris.

Opened master.dr in wordpad and globally edited all the PLAN-1 to
PLAN-1A and saved.
Started arris and opened master.dr. The layer descriptions weren't
changed. So I opened another drawing (the only other one in there, the
one with the title block outlines for drawings which does not have these
plan layers in it) and remade master using the drawing make menu.
In the drawing make menu, the layer descriptions are the new ones. PLAN-1A
Remade master.
Opened master.
Still has the old descriptions PLAN-1 when viewed in the layer menu in
arris.

If I save master.dr in arris then it overwrites the edited descriptions
so when I open in wordpad and the PLAN-1A descriptions are gone. Bleh.

HOW can I get master.dr to accept the changes? Without having to
manually change within arris every single layer for basically twelve
fully renovation layer sets which is probably 30 layers per set?
I thought what I did would work. ha.
