[arriscad] Sheets rescaling

Regarding the comment on this thread about viewports between databases. I
don't think this is the whole answer to the problem with rescaling.
However, there probably is some issue with a different scaled database of
information from another translated drawing.
We use this technique every day (placing viewports from one .DB into another
.DB), and do not have any difficulty. Of course, we have standardized our
system, so we have the same increments, etc. in all our .PJ's and .DB's.
For example: we have multiple story office buildings with extensive tenant
projects. We use the following technique for managing sheets for ongoing
tenant work.
Office Park: park name = location.pj (location or name of park)
Office Building: database name = 9201.db (related to building address or
job #)
Tenant Sheets: individual databases located in the same .PJ as the building
database = 11007sht.db (name relates to job #)
Tenant drawings are all done in the building database, including all plans
and details. Viewports are cut in this database, and viewports are placed on
the sheets which are located in their own separate database.
In one particular office park (officepark.pj), we have five office buildings
(building.db) ranging from 12 to 24 stories. A couple of these building
databases now have well over 350 drawing files .DR's. This office park has
had hundreds of tenant jobs, so we have hundreds of sheet databases.
We do not have an troubles with this system, except when we need to manage a
viewport (add a layer, for example), we must go back to the native drawing,
set the layers again, then redefine the viewport > go back to sheets
database, delete previous viewport, and re-place the corrected one.
Luckily, we had a customized bit of code designed by Steve Clark (ARRIS CAD
Czar) that enables us to build our projects from scratch (empty) and covers
all types of drawings that we use (from site thru plans of many types,
elevations, sections, details, area/marketing, etc.)

One additional item that I noticed is the scaling that is listed under the
v. port name changed from 1/2" = 1'-0" to 1" =24" Not sure if this has
anything to do with it but more information.

Subject: [arriscad] Sheets rescaling
I have a issue with the rescaling (arbitrarily) of all the sheets in a db.
The sheet size on the template is 24 x 36 and scaling the sheet the sheet is
6 1/8" x 9 3/16" . Not all the sheets in the data base are rescaled only
the ones which have view ports placed on them from one particular database.
Any suggestions why this happened. I printed out the sheets 2 days ago with
proper scaling. Should I remake the sheets and replace the v.ports or is
there another way to fix?
