Reset environmental defaults (GRSTD) in arris, deleted one menusize,
restarted system- still flashes. It is our "S" drive, works in A94.
Not sure what is going on but clearly it is not finding stnds. It
stops loading (and starts flashing) at "loading symbol
library:fplan:y_fplan.sy".
Not sure what's going on, I assume the pathname to your
Standards
directory is rock-solid, right?
If you haven't already tried this, try setting the GRSTD
variable
from within ARRIS by selecting
the Custom menu (to the left of the load Plug-in menu), then
select
the INI icon (with shiny yellow
cross) from the lower-right corner of the pulldown. The
first
field in the ENVIRONMENTAL
DEFAULTS MANAGER menu allows you to browse to set the
STANDARDS
DIRECTORY
variable. By setting the variable through this menu it will
prevent
any typos or shared drives (S:\) that
aren't accessible. Don't forget to select APPLY before
exiting this
menu.

Also, are the two entries in your arris.ini file GMENU
SIZE=70 and
GMENUSIZE=75 conflicting
with each other?

GMENU_SIZE=70
GRUSRS=S:\cadd_files\arris_users\keller
GPLOTACCT=user

GRSTD=s:\cadd_files\arris_users\kba_stnds

I
have A95 loading and running, until that is I add "GRSTD" path
to the
ini file. Then the status menu flashes and it won't complete
loading.
Any ideas?
Thanks
PS reloading user command bar seems a little snarky- maybe
because
stds isn't loaded?
