[arriscad] autosave?

Yes.... the autosave feature is great. I always set it to one minute
for everybody. The problem is getting people to understand how it
works, and how to actually recover from autosave. Aside from that, I
like it.
Agree about the text-edit thing too.... that has been a bug for as long
as I can remember.

I believe autosave is useful, and can save your bacon ... I believe we
have it set to five minutes (default), and it runs behind the scenes.
Only issue is sometimes while editing text, it kicks in and the autosave
text appears where text was being edited.
This feature should not be confused with daily backup.

No - that is the first place I looked.
Is there any good reason to keep the autosave feature of Arris? It had a
raison d'etre a long time ago, but I don't see any virtue in it now.
Saving / backing up should be an integral part of computer-based work,
and with flash drives, one can save anywhere, anytime inexpensively.

And if not, .sv files might still exist in the autosave
directory.
