[arriscad] Quake report from DC and trim/extend question

Often that error results from attempting to trim lines that have a Z-axis component. Try the "zflat" mnemonic command or do an Area in - Move/Scale/Rotate operation with Scale factors of 1,1,0.

Nevermind, it was a layer with stuff from an AutoCad drawing was that was preventing the command from working...just turned off the layer and it worked.

  Thanks anyway...

Hi everyone...reporting from a DC suburb here. We survived the quake just fine though running out of the building while drawing tubes were falling all over the place was pretty freaky.

Arris question: Suddenly I'm getting this error when trying to trim a line to another line:

"Error: Cannot fillet line or arc to itself."

Have packed and recreated display list but still can't trim/extend. I would appreciate any ideas on how to make this thing work, please.

  Karen
